Addis Ababa

Writer's picture: August EhrlichAugust Ehrlich

We have arrived in Addis Ababa!

The flights were about 19 hours - through Istanbul this time - and we were really hungry and tired and disoriented when we arrived (as usual). Our friend Abdi picked us up in the middle of the night and brought us to our hotel. We slept for a long time and then we got to work... organizing and preparing to work for several days at Kidane Mehret. It was cool to see all of our project activities IN Ethiopia after so many months of preparing for the trip and the project.

We have collapsible bins to store the Lego activities for when they are not in use, to keep them together for either the nuns or the teachers to share with the kids.

Oh - and it's Christmas! We are really excited to share Christmas with the kids.
